Keywords:Carbon nanotube

In the application of carbon nanotube (CNT) wire, it is an issue to understand and establish of technology of mass synthesis high quality and long CNT. We previously showed to synthesize high quality and long CNT using Flating Bridge(FB) method. In the FB method, it is empirically known that the iron block installed upstream of the reactor tube significantly improves CNT growth. In order to investigate the effect of this iron block on CNT growth, gas analysis during synthesis was performed to evaluate intermediate products from methane decomposition.
