In this research, we propose a multi-layer detector as an energy estimation detector for cosmic ray muons and a method to analyze the data by machine learning. The multi-layer detector is a combination of a plastic scintillators and shields. We made learning data by simulation and performed machine learning by fully connected nural netwaork using it for proof of principle of this method.
