Keywords:uncertainty in measurement, radioactive concentration measurement, ML-EM method

In this study, it was demonstrated that the derivation of uncertainty and characteristic limits of the estimated radioactivity with ML-EM method can be performed by using Monte-Carlo method for the results obtained by the simulation calculations and the corresponding actual measurements respectively. Monte-Carlo method was used to synthesize uncertainties of radiation detectors' outputs according to statistical fluctuations.
