[18p-E312-7] Quantitative Analysis of Phenylalanine Thin Films by Resonant Elastic Scattering

Yasuhito Gotoh1, Masahiro Nakakami1 (1.Kyoto Univ.)

Keywords:carbon, resonant elastic scattering, quantitative analysis

A method to quantitatively evaluate the carbon content in phenylalanine thin films has been established. First, backscattering spectra at different terminal voltages of the accelerator were acquired. The obtained spectrum was compared with the spectrum generated by a computer program anad the energy of the proton beam was esitmated. It was shown that quantitative analysis is possible even though the resonant elastic scattering analysis where the scattering cross section has a strong dependence on the projectile energy.
