Towards lower-latency photonic-electronic computation, we have proposed the configuration of “photonic digital analog converters (PDACs) whose loss decreases against the scale” previously. This PDAC operates with single wavelength, and the weighting process among the digits is done by cascading linear gates almost without the insertion loss. In this presentation, we report the 6-bit operation with the driving voltage less than 80 mV.
