Keywords:photonic crystal, exciton, all optical switching

Until now, we demonstrated large Purcell enhancement [1] and high-β laser with smooth lasing transition using a buried multiple-quantum-well photonic crystal nanocavity [2]. In this study, we will investigate exciton effect of buried multiple-quantum-well photonic crystal nanocavity toward ultra-low energy all-optical switching.
