[19a-E307-3] Study of Protective Coating for Thermoelectric Materials

Thermal instability at high-temperature under atmosphere is a serious problem in practice for the thermoelectric materials. To solve this problem, we applied aluminum phosphate as a surface coating on the thermoelectric materials, and found that the coating was quite effective for the surface protection. We also tried several additives for the aluminum phosphate coating agent and observed improvement of oxidation resistance for some thermoelectric materials.
