[19a-PB4-2] Preparation of spherical Li₂B₄O₇ crystal

Porous carbon substrate that repels Li2B4O7 melt has been prepared, and spherical Li2B4O7 crystal with the diameter of about 1mm was grown on this porous substrate. As a result, spherical crystal was successfully grown. From the observation using a polarized microscope, spherical crystal consists of twinned crystals.
