[19p-C206-1] [Highlight] Depairing Current Density and Pining Current Density —REBCO and MgB2

Keywords:critical current density, flux pinning, depairing current density

It is interested in how the critical current density determined by the flux pinning mechanism, i.e., the maximum non-dissipative current density in superconductor, can be improved. This has been frequently compared with the depairing current density. Here the experimental results of the critical current density are compared with the theoretical results of the depairing current density and maximum critical current density for REBCO coated conductors and MgB2 thin films.
