Optical wireless power transmission (OWPT) systems are attractive photonic systems based on light sources and solar cells. To improve the visual appearance of practical consumer applications, we have applied visible color filters to change the typical black appearance of solar cells. We also used frosted glass to change the roughness of the surface to achieve light scattering which is important for good appearance. The results show that the OWPT system can change its appearance with an acceptable slight deterioration in performance.
