Keywords:heat transfer change, mechanical strain

Thermal transport modulating materials are important for thermal control technology. Recently, there have been reported some materials whose thermal conductivity changes with mechanical strain. Comparison of these materials suggests that the mechanical strain and thermal conductivity are correlated regardless of the material type. However, there are few measurement examples about the correlation. In this study, heat transfer measurement in the strain applied state was carried out for many kinds of materials in order to clarify the correlation between heat transfer change rates and mechanical strain.
