Bacterial metabolic regulation via chemical interaction have been studied to elucidate its detail mechanism. In recent years, the ion current propagation mechanism found in human neurons has been discovered as one of bacterial interactions but a quantitative evaluation of its relationship with metabolic control has only just begun. Purpose of this study was to establish electrochemical quantitative evaluation method of metabolic regulation via chemical interaction using Bacillus subtilis as a model bacteria.
