[19p-PB1-18] Development of a bio-adhesive optical flexible oxygen sensor
Keywords:flexible sensor, oxygen partial pressure measurement, phosphorescence lifetime method
Measurement of oxygen concentration in living body is important not only in the clinical situation but also in basic experiments centering on cultured cells. In the clinical site, particularly, non-invasive and continuous measurement is required. Therefore, adopting on the phosphorescence lifetime method that can measure the absolute value of oxygen concentration, we developed a film type optical oxygen sensor that can be attached to a living body. In this presentation, we made a prototype of oxygen sensor using flexible material and electrode and measured the oxygen partial pressure experimentally. Although the sensitivity differs depending on the oxygen concentration, it was shown that oxygen sensing is possible. From now on, we will improve the accuracy and make it more flexible to aim at the application to the living body measurement.
