We developed a flexible microelectrode device for multi-channel neuronal recording in deep brain area, and a surgical method was proposed for the device penetration. in vivo experiments using the mouse brain demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed surgical method and the recording capability of the fabricated flexible microelectrode device.
