Keywords:organic electro-luminescence, electron holography

OLED (organic light emitting diode) emits light due to recombination of injected electrons and holes, but details of the potential distribution inside the device at that time are not sufficiently clarified. If the potential distribution inside the device is experimentally clarified, it is possible to obtain a guideline for further improving the performance and stability of the organic EL device. So, in this research, the OLED device which consists of two organic layers and an electrode was produced, and the electric potential distribution inside the element was evaluated using electron holography under the short circuit condition.
