[20a-E202-6] Control of Molecular Orientation of Porphyrin Derivatives Using Intermolecular Interaction between Porphyrins
Keywords:porphyrin, molecular orientation, pMAIRS
Since the performance of organic thin-film devices significantly depends on the molecular aggregation structure in the film, structural control of the aggregation structure is of great importance. In the present study, by exchanging the phenyl groups of the tetraphenylporphyrin (H2TPP) with pyridyl groups, a crystallized and oriented structure, which is not obtained in H2TPP films without an annealing treatment, is readily obtained at room temperature, due to a relatively strong intermolecular interaction.
