[20a-F211-2] [INVITED] Silicon neuronal network: towards brain-compatible AI

Silicon neuronal network aims to realize an electronic circuit version of nervous system composed of circuit modules correspond to neuronal cells and synapses. Understanding of electrophysiological activities in neuronal cells and synapses is growing and based on it a low-power silicon neuron circuit that can reproduce the activities in various neuronal classes and consumes less than 10 nW has been developed. Recent silicon neuron and synapse circuits and approaches to brain-compatible AI are introduced in this talk.
