[20a-N304-8] Stabilization of broadband WDM photon-pair source using cascaded SFG/SPC and differential-frequency-generation monitoring

We report generation of highly stabilized WDM photon-pairs by combining two methods; cascaded optical sum-frequency-generation and spontaneous parametric downconversion (cascaded SFG/SPDC) and differential-frequency-generation (DFG) monitoring. The experimental results using a periodically poled LiNbO3 (PPLN) waveguide device verified the merit of the proposed system. We succeeded in generating WDM photon-pairs with small fluctuation of the mean number of photon-pairs (0.0025±0.0006pair/Hz/s) over 16 WDM pairs at a wide operating temperature range from 27℃ to 60℃.
