[20a-PA6-8] Fruit surface sterilization and damage evaluation using active oxygen species by atmospheric pressure discharge

The method of sterilization of fruit surface without pesticide are expected for farm products transportation and long-term preservation. The inactivation effect of bacteria and mold improves with the increase of ozone concentration. However, the effect on agricultural products in the case of agricultural products sterilization using about several hundred ppm ozone concentration for plants has not been investigated. The purpose of this study is to clarify the inactivation of fruit surface bacteria by high concentration ozone and the effect on agricultural products.
