Micro/Nano-mechanical resonator can exhibit a strong mechanical nonlinearity. It is expected that by using this nonlinearity the applications open to novel sensors, robust/high-sensitive sensors, and novel signal processing devices. In this presentation, nonlinearity related applications will be presented, which include a nonlinearity of micro/nanoscale resonant structures, mechanical coupling, stochastic resonance for detection and binary logic processing.
