[20p-B01-3] Brainmorphic Computing
-Towards Brain-type Information Processing through Embodiment and “Process”-

Yoshihiko Horio1 (1.RIEC, Tohoku Univ.)

Keywords:brainmorphic computing, brain-type information processing, embodiment

In order to realize the brain-specific functions such as consciousness, prediction, inference, attention, self and autonomy, the “brainmorphic” computational paradigm is introduced. The importance of the direct use of dynamical characteristics of devices to reproduce the “process” and dynamics of the brain is emphasized. The embodiment is also vital for emergence of the brain-specific functions.
