[20p-C207-12] The degrees of biaxial orientation of DyBa2Cu3Oy thick films aligned under linear-drive type modulated rotating magnetic fields
Keywords:superconductor, magnetic alignment, crystal orientation
REBa2Cu3Oy (RE123, RE: rare-earth element) shows a high critical temperature and a high critical current density. We focus on a magnetic alignment method using modulated magnetic fields (MRF) as a biaxial crystal orientation method of RE123 with tri-axial magnetic anisotropy. In this study, we clarified relationship between degrees of biaxial orientation of Dy123 and the magnetic field distributions of “arrayed magnet units” that can generate MRFs without rotating samples. We fabricated three different arrayed magnet units, and evaluate behaviors of Dy123 powder in the dispersion medium.
