Low-light characteristics of solar cells with PTB7-Th:C70 and PTB7-Th:C70-PCBM composites have been studied. The PTB7-Th:C70 solar cell showed PCE=5.3% under 1 sun illumination and PCE=7.4% under 10-3 sun illumination. On the other hand, although the PCE of the PTB7-Th:C70-PCBM solar cell under 1 sun was 3.9%, which is significantly lower than that of the solar cell with C70, it showed PCE=7.6% under 10-3 sun illumination, which is higher than that of the solar cell with C70. This result probably comes from the facts that the solar cell with C70-PCBM has higher Voc at 1 sun and smaller dependence of Voc on illumination light intensity than that with C70.
