[20p-E307-5] Applications and required specifications for see through solar panels

Takeshi Sano1 (1.Yamagata Univ.)

Keywords:organic solar cell, see through solar panel

Organic solar cells and perovskite solar cells have possibilities for new applications such as distributed power generation for home and office due to the ease of installation with variability of weight, size and design. They can be adapted to the applications with battery system such as electric vehicles, lighting, communication, television, ventilation, and systems that secure necessary power.
In particular, organic solar cells can be applied as see-through or flexible solar cells. It is expected that the specifications required for distinctive applications such as windows for power generation, building-integrated photovoltaic panels, flexible mobile solar cells, power supplies for IoT sensors, etc. In this symposium, expected applications, required performance, current status, issues and prospects of organic solar cells will be discussed.
