Keywords:Porous Silica, Fluorescent Molecules, Pyrone Derivative

Super Micro Porous Silica(SMPS) whose pore size was controlled by sub-nano size was included in citric acid aqueous solution and heated to obtained a fluorophore. Result of analyzing, fluorophore was suggested to be a pyrone derivative. A reaction different from the usual pyrolysis may be developed in a space of limited size such as sub-nano size. Sub-nano sized spaces have various possibilities. Using this SMPS may contribute to the development of new functional materials.
