[21a-F211-6] Mathematical Property of Gaussian Noise and Counterintuitive Stochastic Resonance

Seiya Kasai1 (1.Hokkaido Univ.)

Keywords:stochastic resonance, Gaussian noise, nonlinear

Counterintuitive mathematical property of Gaussian function and its application will be presented, which has been learned from the exploration of the mechanism of a counterintuitive nonlinear phenomenon "stochastic resonance" where the response of the system to a weak signal is enhanced by adding noise.
