近年、ナノ電子デバイスの開発・研究は活況を呈している。これについてナノ電子デバイスが元来有しているユニークな非線形挙動に着目し「ナノ電子デバイス“だからこそ”の情報処理」が模索されている。本講演では、これまでに著者らが開拓した、自然・生物が見せる情報処理的挙動（物理現象）と、ナノ電子デバイス・回路が示す挙動とを対応付けることにより表現する手法を中心に紹介し、新デバイスの開拓可能性を探る。
