In the field of spintronics, it is siginificat to find non-magnetic metals which have high efficiency of charge to spin current conversion. We have focused on 5d transition-metal oxide IrO2 with a unique electronic structure. We fabricated ferromagnetic NiFe/nonmagnetic IrO2 bilayers and NiFe/Pt bilayers in order to clarify spin-current-induced magnetic moment by measuring second harmonic Hall resistance. We will report on the charge to spin current conversion and effective magnetic field induced by the spin current.
