▼ [21a-PB1-48] Fabrication and Characterization of Organic Ferroelectric Poly (vinylidene fluoride)/Reduced Graphene Oxide Thin Film Heterostructures
Keywords:organic ferroelectric, graphene, ultra thin films
In our work, we examine graphene as a support substrate for crystallization of PVDF. We expect that graphene lattice has a strong epitaxial interaction with PVDF chains with specific symmetry providing excellent ferroelectric nature with stability because of a lattice match in both graphene and β phase of PVDF as depicted in the schematics. In this research, we fabricate and evaluate the heterostructure thin films of PVDF and highly reduced graphene oxide (rGO) ultrathin films as support substrates (PVDF/rGO). The rGO thin films were fabricated by thermally annealing graphene oxide sheets which were spin-coated on Si substrates. To fabricate continuous ultrathin films PVDF/rGO heterostructure, PVDF (dissolved in N-N dimethylformamide) was spin-coated on rGO coated substrates.
