It is known that when strain is applied to graphene, the electrical and thermal properties change. For example, we focused on the fact that the thermal carrier of graphene is phonon, and previously reported that applying thermal strain reduces thermal conductivity [1]. Precise identification of strain in graphene membrane is essential for accurate analysis of the effect on thermal conductivity. In this study, the in-plane strain applied to mechanically exfoliated graphene membrane was precisely measured by Raman spectroscopy.
