We report on a time-resolved soft X-ray absorption spectroscopy of molecular nitrogen at the K-edge (400 eV) using high harmonics generated by a 1600-nm optical parametric chirped-pulse amplifier. An ultrafast absorption change in the Rydberg absorption peaks is observed.
