Keywords:circularly polarized luminescence, whispering gallery mode optical resonator, self-assembly

We demonstrate self-assembly of chiral π-conjugated polymer into well-defined microspheres. The microspheres exhibit circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) with high dissymmetry value (|glum| = 0.2). Furthermore, a single microsphere works as a whispering gallery mode (WGM) optical and laser resonators. Considering the light-confinement efficiency (Q factor),we find a trade-off relationship between CPL and resonator properties.
