This report presents the improvement done to the centrifugation controlled reflow system for single cell isolation in a microfluidic device. Single cell preparation has revolutionized the field of Life Sciences; however, most of the cells in the suspension in conventional microfluidic devices end up to waste. This is not desirable when dealing with rare cells. With this, a reflow system was developed. However, though the developed system showed good trapping capability, a large chip variability was observed due to the flipping motion differences. This was solved by including mechanical bearings and fixing clamps to the microfluidic devices.
