Keywords:electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, Bayesian statistics

Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy is an important method to obtain knowledge regarding electrochemical reactions by the equivalent circuit modeling of electrochemical systems. However, in the conventional analysis using non-linear least squares, a subjective judgement of researcher gives equivalent circuit models and initial parameters resulting in a lack of objectivity. In this study, we developed new methods to select the objectively reasonable model and estimate its parameters using the theory of Bayesian statistics.
