△ [10a-W371-9] Thermal anisotropy evaluation of highly aligned single-walled carbon nanotube film
Keywords:Carbon Nanotube, Thermal Anisotropy
In the field of electronics, the management of generated heat is becoming more and more important. Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have been studied as a promising material for the thermal management. For industrial use, bulk materials with the size of microns have been synthesized and tested, and the experimental data have shown that the thermal conductivity of such materials can be smaller than that of individual ones by orders or magnitude. Recently, a highly packed and oriented CNT film was reported and thus expected to show high thermal conductivity. Here, we firstly measure the thermal conductivity of the highly packed and oriented CNT film in both parallel and perpendicular directions to the alignment axis.
