[10a-W935-5] Instruction of Physical Phenomena for Persons Hesitating to Learn Physics: Proposal of instruction methods developed in energy and environment enlightenment activities

Nobu Kuzuu1 (1.Univ. of Fukui)

Keywords:Energy and environment education, Instruction for physics

In energy environmental education activities, I have tried to explain phenomena related to heat and energy to various people including schoolteachers and teacher training students. In these activities, I have attempted to explain physical phenomena utilizing simple demonstration experiments, illustrations and figurative expressions without using mathematical expressions and technical terms. Based on the report of the attendee, we recognized the importance of explaining physical phenomena without using mathematical formulas. Based on these experiences, I will propose an educational guideline for construction future world.
