Management of a large number of IoT devices is becoming important, especially maintenance work required for power supply installation and battery replacement are major challenges. In this work, we introduce a power-control technology that realizes a compact sensor device and a battery-free operation with photovoltaic cells supporting LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) communication. It is effective for application to a wide factory or infrastructure that requires long distance communication.
