[10p-M135-4] Current JAXA's R&D Activities on Fiber Optic Gyroscope

Fiber optic gyroscopes (FOG) are continuously studied in JAXA in order to develop space-grade and high precision FOGs. In this presentation, we introduce two study cases which are different from the conventional or traditional R&D approach. One is a collaborative development of inertial navigation system with non-space users, and the other is a feasibility study of FOG using multi-core optical fiber.
