In order to detect fatty acids such as butyric acid and isovaleric acid which are low in olfactory threshold (minimum concentration that human can perceive smell) among odor substances adsorbed on the surface of the aluminum member exposed to the indoor environment, We optimized pretreatment conditions of headspace gas chromatograph mass spectrometry.
