△ [10p-PB1-1] The interaction surface acoustic waves with localized surface plasmon resonance by gold nanoparticles on 128Y-X LiNbO3
Keywords:Surface acoustic wave, Localized surface plasmon resonance, micro fluid
Localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) phenomenon occurs on the metal surface by vibration of the external electric field. LSPR has the effect of increasing the light intensity of a certain wavelength. The amount of increase in wavelength and intensity depends on the type of metal, the nano structure, and the surrounding environment.
On the other hand, a wave propagating while concentrating energy on the elastic body surface is called a surface acoustic wave (SAW). When liquid droplets are present on the SAW propagation surface, it is possible to transport, heat and atomize the droplets.
Therefore, if the LSPR sensor can be integrated on the substrate through which the SAW propagates, a new microfluidic device can be realized. As a basic research for this purpose, we have experimentally studied what kind of interaction exists between SAW and LSPR.
