The carbon nanocoil (CNC) is a helical carbon nanofiber (CNF). CNC is mainly synthesized from Fe - ITO and Fe - Sn catalysts. The presence of impurities such as metal catalysts used during synthesis affects the behavior of devices fabricated with CNC, so purification of CNC is necessary. In addition, since the synthesized CNCs are entangled and agglomerated, it is necessary to disperse the coil for application. In this study, extraction of CNC not attached with catalyst and evaluation of dispersibility of CNC using different solvent were carried out.
