Fractional flux vortices were theoretically predicted, and they were also experimentally observed in High Tc superconductor. We fabricated a quasi-two-band superconductor using weakly coupled very thin single band superconductors and we successfully observed a fractional flux vortex by a scanning SQUID microscope.
