LnFeAsO (Ln: lanthanoid), one of the Fe-based superconductors (FBS), shows a superconducting transition temperature Tc of 58 K, which is the second highest next to the cuprates. Hence FBS generated a huge impact on the community of fundamental and applied superonducting research. Albeit LnFeAsO has the highest Tc amog the FBS, the critical current properties reported to date are inferior to BaFe2 As2 (Ba-122) system. Here, we report on a record Jc of 11 MA/cm2 for NdFeAs(O,F) thin films grown on vicinal substrates ever reported in FBS thin films.
