[10p-W351-7] [INVITED] Thermoelectric properties of van der Waals materials
Keywords:thermoelectric properties
Thermoelectric energy conversion is one of the key technologies for energy harvesting devices to convert waste heat into electric power, and vice versa. Particularly, for future IoT society based on wearable electronics, flexible large-scale thermoelectric conversion devices are highly required. As the active semiconductors of these devices, van der Waals materials, such as organic conducting polymers, carbon nanotubes, graphene and transition metal dichalcogenide (TMDC) monolayers, are strong candidates. Here, we investigated the thermoelectric properties of organic conducting polymers, carbon nanotubes, graphene and TMDC monolayers.
