△ [10p-W521-8] Charge / Discharge Characteristics of Lithium-Ion Secondary Batteries Using Reduced Graphene Oxide/Silicon Composites
Keywords:graphene, sol-gel reaction, thermal reduction
Previously we developed a novel and simple method to prepare reduced graphene oxide (rGO) /silica composites from graphene oxide (GO)/silica composites synthesized by sol-gel reaction of GO aqueous dispersion and tetraethyl orthosilicate. In this study, rGO/silicon composites were synthesized by heat treatment of GO/silica composites, which were prepared at various feed ratios by sol-gel reaction, in the presence of Mg (magnesiothermic reduction). Spectroscopic analysis of the resulting composites revealed that not only graphene oxide but also silica were reduced and rGO/silicon composites were obtained. Lithium ion batteries using the composites as the anode material were fabricated and their charge / discharge characteristics were investigated.
