Keywords:aerial imaging by retro-reflection

Aerial imaging by retro-reflection (AIRR) is one of techniques for forming a aerial image. We have studied a display method combining clear spheres in the aerial display by AIRR. At this time, since the clear sphere combined with the AIRR plays a role of a ball lens, the light reflected by the beam splitter and incident on the retro-reflector is expected to be distributed to some extent.
In this paper, we show the distribution of light incident on retro-reflector by simulation when a clear sphere is installed.
