[11a-PA7-2] Surface Modification of Concrete by Atmospheric-Pressure Plasma Jet Irradiation (2)

Keywords:concrete, atmospheric pressure plasma jet, hydrophilicity

An atmospheric pressure plasma jet was irradiated to a concrete for 1-5 minutes. The contact angle of a water drop on the concrete surface after the plasma irradiation for 1 min decreased from 68 to 0 degree. A hydrophilicity of the concrete surface improved after the plasma irradiation for 1 min.
