Keywords:Decolorization, Plasma

An atmospheric pressure plasma jet was irradiated onto the mixed colored aqueous solution of tartrazine, malachite green and bordeaux S. The aqueous solution gradually became lighter with increasing irradiation time and was almost completely decolorized after 40 min of irradiation. The decolorization of the mixed colored aqueous solution was examined by considering changes in the absorbance spectra in the wavelength range from UV to near-infrared light.
