Intermediate-band solar cell (IBSC) has potential for high power conversion efficiency. However, the IBSCs reported to date have been fabricated only by dry process and their efficiencies are limited due to restrictions on available materials. In order to solve the subject, we create IBSCs by a solution process. Here, we present design, fabrication, and structural characterization of solution-processed IBSCs with PbS quantum dots and lead halide perovskites.
