The conventional graphene CVD methods require complicated transferring from a metal substrate. Here, we present to grow graphene directly on an insulated substrate by using gallium as a catalyst without transferring. Gallium, a liquid metal, was dropped onto the substrate and graphene was successfully grown on and between gallium and substrate in ethanol vapor and nitrogen atmosphere at 1000℃. After removing gallium, graphene was grown directly on an insulated substrate.
